**How do I transfer my domain elsewhere?

** update article

Of course we would rather you left your domains with us, but there may still be reasons to transfer your domain name. We have made this part easy for you too, and you can arrange it yourself.

The new domain provider will give you instructions on exactly how to transfer the domain name, as the procedure can differ slightly from provider to provider. Below you will find the steps you need to take with us.

  1. In the client menu (https://www.weboke.nl/ left-hand side) you will find the option 'My transfer codes. There you can request an EPP code (also called a TOKEN/auth code or transfer code), which the new provider needs to transfer your domain.
  2. For various domain names you will also find the option to unlock a domain name there. We normally lock a domain so that a domain name cannot be transferred by accident. This is not necessary for .nl, .be, .eu and various other TLDs.
  3. In the client menu, under My Domains, you can also indicate that you want to cancel a domain. Do this as well if you are transferring the domain name, so that you no longer receive invoices from us.
